
About Us
DVA provides the most comprehensive volleyball training plan and competition schedule possible. DVA's coaches and staff are proud to guide each member on their individual journey for excellence, to assist them in becoming the very best athletes and team players they can be.
DVA Fundamentals
This is a program that all of our players go through to learn and reinforce the basics of ball control. DVA uses a proven program written by Bai Qing Lui (Technical Director) and used during his years of training at the Shanghai Sport School.
Academy Style Training
At least once a week, our club teams train together. This allows our athletes the opportunity to work with a number of talented coaches and provides players with a well-rounded training experience.
Individual Team Practice
This is a time that we set aside in our training schedule to allow our coaches to work with their individual teams on strategies and skills that they need to prepare them for competition. A typical team practice will go from 2 to 2-1/2 hours. This will include out PACT program and individual position training.
Position Training
This program offers our more experienced staff a chance to break down the fundamentals.
DVA School of Player Education
Educating student-athletes in the areas of health, nutrition, hydration, overall fitness, and injusry prevention is essential to improving general physical conditioning and overall athletic performance.
