Future Stars Youth Volleyball Academy

DVA Future Stars Practice Schedule
Each Session will last 1.5 hrs 
Regular Start time is 6:00 unless otherwise noted.

2/2 (6:30), 2/4 (7:30), 2/9, 2/11, 2/17 (6:30), 2/23 (6:30), 2/25, 3/2. 3/4, 3/9. 3/11, 3/16, 3/18, 3/23, 3/25, 3/30

 

Delaware Volleyball Academy announces our annual Future Stars Youth Volleyball Academy. Girls 12 and younger that have an interest in learning the game of volleyball are all welcome.

Come and join the fun! No experience is necessary. Training sessions will include circuit training to introduce all skills involved in the game. Game play will be included in each session.

All players will train with reduced net heights and lighter volleyballs. The program will last for 8 weeks total beginning Feb 2nd and ending Mar 30th. Sessions will be 1.5 hours in length TWICE per week on Tuesday and Thursday. (Times may vary slightly) Each player gets 16 total sessions. All sessions are located at Padua Academy 905 N. Broom Street · Wilmington, DE 19806. Volunteer Instructors include Padua Volleyball Head Coach Angel Payne, DVA Skill Technicians and DVA High School age players.

 

Program fee is 200.00 per player and Includes a DVA Practice Shirt

All players must register with AAU Volleyball to participate. Details on AAU Registration will be sent after initial signup. AAU Registration is 12.00

 

Proceeds from this program will be donated to the Julie Gricol Memorial Fund at Padua

DVA Player Gets National Recognition

Congratulations to Stephanie Zampini for receiving All American Honorable Mention recognition by PrepVolleyball.com in its selection of 2009 High School All American Teams.  According to PrepVolleyball. com’s John Tawa, “To be a High School All-American, you must have made a massive impact on your high school team and state."  Steph is one of two junior-class liberos in the nation to receive the Honorable Mention distinction.
