Welcome to Delaware Volleyball Academy!
DVA offers the most well-rounded club experience in the area. We have a Director of Sports Medicine, we are the only club in Delaware with several full-time staff members, and we provide the most comprehensive volleyball training plan and competition schedule possible. DVA's coaches and staff are proud to guide each member on her individual journey for excellence.

Practices will be held on Mondays & Wednesdays from 7:00 - 9:30pm.** There will also be the following Sunday practices: May 26: 11am - 2pm June 2: 11am - 2pm June 9: 11am - 2pm June 16: 11am - 2pm Coaches Meeting on Sun, May 26, from 10-11am. **NOTE: No practice on Mon, May 27, or Tues, May 28. Practice resumes at regular schedule on Wed, May 29. |

| LIV KING RANKS NATIONALLY AS OUTSIDER HITTER |

It all started with a big bump at age 8. That big bump turned into a little pass which turned into a huge passion – Passion – for Volleyball - with the skills and stats today to prove it! |

At nearly 6’, Olivia “Liv” King (Jersey #3), plays as Outside Hitter with DVA’s National 16’s Team under the coaching of DVA Directors Rich Comly and Frank Garrett. After just one year of Delaware Volleyball Academy (DVA) coaching, Liv currently ranks nationally in the top 100 for the most Kill Shots for all reporting sophomore players in all playing positions. In her residence state of Pennsylvania, Liv ranks #2 for most Kill Shots by all Sophomore Outside Hitters. Liv also ranks #12 for ALL ages as Outside Hitter with most Kill Shots for the state of PA. Recently, during her high school’s invitational tournament, Liv hit 57 Kill Shots in one day! |

 Brianna Plush, Sophmore and DVA regular scores 5 kills and several blocks in Garnet Valley's defeat of Strath-Haven for the PIAA Central League Championship. Brianna started front row, first line matched up against All-Delco and NCAA Division 1 prospect, Sharay Barnes - numerous confrontations at the net ensued all evening. Assistant Volleyball Coach at Temple, will be joining the DVA family in early June! Hatakeyama helped lead Temple to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 1997 while also going undefeated in Atlantic 10 play that season. She will bring her valued expertise to help DVA's teams train for Florida, and she will also participate in the Tower Hill High Performance camp and the Twin Valley camp. [SIGN UP HERE...] Coach Hatakeyama, a 1999 graduate of Temple and the Owls' volleyball program, has also played professionally overseas, playing for Greece, Holland, Switzerland, France, Austria, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Germany, and Romania! | DVA GRASS & BEACH VOLLEYBALL CLUB |
DVA is excited to announce its launch of DVA Grass & Beach Volleyball Club. Bringing the same knowledge and intensity that make DVA great, the Grass & Beach club will expose players to the world of outdoor volleyball. With a May - August season, the club will participate in four outdoor tournaments in 2012. Tryouts are May 22 & May 24 from 5:30-8:30 pm at the JCC. The program will be accepting a maximum of 32 players only. Membership will be announced after tryouts on May 24.
